Dwelling in His Presence

Dwelling in His Presence

Scripture: "You make known to me the path of life; You will fill me with joy in Your presence, with eternal pleasures at Your right hand." – Psalm 16:11 (NIV)

There’s a difference between knowing about God and dwelling with Him. Dwelling speaks of abiding, staying close, making your home in His presence—not just during prayer or church, but in your everyday moments.

God’s presence isn’t reserved for the extraordinary—it’s available in the ordinary. He wants to meet you in your kitchen, your car, your conversations, your quiet thoughts. And in that place of nearness, you will find what your heart craves most—joy, peace, purpose, and life.

When you dwell with Him, life doesn’t get easier, but it does get anchored. You are no longer reacting to life—you are rooted in life Himself.

Start this day intentionally in God’s presence. Whisper His name. Invite Him into every part of your day. As you move through your tasks, keep coming back to this simple truth: “His presence is here, and I belong with Him.”
