Freedom from Fear

Scripture:
"For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." – 2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV)
Fear can be loud. It whispers in your ear about what could go wrong, what you might lose, or how you might fail. But here’s the truth: fear is not from God. It’s not part of your spiritual inheritance. You were not created to live in constant anxiety, dread, or insecurity. You were created to walk in courage, covered by the love and power of God.
Fear paralyzes. It clouds clarity and keeps you from stepping into the fullness of God’s purpose for your life. But you don’t have to agree with fear anymore. You’ve been given something greater—a spirit of power to face what’s ahead, a heart full of love that casts out fear, and a mind that is calm, clear, and grounded in God’s truth.
You don’t have to pretend you’re not afraid—but you can refuse to let fear lead your day. You belong to the One who speaks peace to storms and strength to weakness.
As you begin today, recognize any fear that’s trying to take root. Name it. Then speak this truth over yourself: “God has not given me a spirit of fear.” Breathe in His peace. Walk forward not in self-confidence, but in God-confidence. His Spirit within you is stronger than any fear around you.
