Held in Gentle Hands

Scripture:
"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." – Psalm 34:18 (NIV)
As you wind down tonight, you may feel the quiet ache of things unspoken—grief, disappointment, or questions that remain unanswered. But even in the silence, God is near. He never overlooks a hurting heart. He leans in closer when you’re feeling low, when your spirit feels fragile, when your soul just needs to be held.
God’s mercy isn’t harsh or hurried—it’s gentle, patient, and healing. He doesn’t expect you to have it all figured out before you rest. He just wants you to know He’s with you, and He cares more deeply than you can imagine. You don’t have to pretend you’re strong tonight. You can simply rest in His nearness.
Take a few moments before sleep to let yourself feel—whatever emotions rise to the surface, let them come without judgment. Then, place them in God’s hands. Imagine His presence surrounding you like a blanket—calm, gentle, comforting. Let His nearness be your healing tonight.
