Peace Over Panic

Peace Over Panic

Scripture:

"When I am afraid, I put my trust in You." – Psalm 56:3 (NIV)

Sometimes, fear shows up when the world grows quiet. The mind starts to wander, the what-ifs creep in, and your heart begins to feel uneasy. But even in those moments, God offers something stronger than fear—He offers His peace.

Peace doesn’t mean every question is answered. It doesn’t mean the circumstances have changed. It means you’re held by the One who never changes. Fear might try to speak, but it doesn’t have to be the loudest voice. Trust is the voice that says, “Even here, even now, I believe God is with me.”

God doesn’t ask you to pretend you’re not afraid. He invites you to bring your fear into His presence—and exchange it for peace.

As you prepare for rest tonight, take inventory of anything stirring fear in your heart. Don’t ignore it—bring it to God. Tell Him what you’re afraid of, and then release it into His hands. Declare your trust, even in the unknown. Let peace, not panic, be your resting place tonight.
