Presence Over Performance

Presence Over Performance

Scripture: "Be still, and know that I am God." – Psalm 46:10 (NIV)

At the end of the day, it’s easy to measure yourself by what you accomplished—or didn’t. But God isn’t asking you for perfection. He’s inviting you into a peaceful presence, into stillness where your soul can rest, not in how much you did, but in who He is.

Stillness is more than silence—it’s surrender. It’s the sacred pause where you stop striving and simply acknowledge: He is God, and I am held. You don’t have to prove your worth. You don’t have to earn His love. You just need to rest in Him.

God takes joy in your nearness, not your performance. He’s not disappointed in what you didn’t finish—He’s delighted that you’re drawing near to Him now.

Before you sleep, take a few minutes to be still in God’s presence. No words needed—just rest in the truth that you are enough because He is enough. Let His peace fill every space where you felt pressure today.
