Staying Close

Scripture: "Remain in Me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine." – John 15:4 (NIV)
At the end of the day, it’s easy to feel disconnected—tired from the pace, distracted by the noise, distant from God without even meaning to be. But Jesus reminds us of this simple truth: fruitfulness comes from staying close, from remaining in Him.
You don’t have to perform for God to stay near. You don’t have to earn your place with Him. He’s already chosen to dwell with you. But He invites you to remain—rest, abide, stay connected. Just like a branch can’t produce life apart from the vine, your soul finds no real peace apart from Him.
Even if today felt chaotic, you can return to His presence tonight. Closeness with God isn’t lost—it’s simply rediscovered, moment by moment.
Take time tonight to pause and reconnect. Breathe deeply and remind yourself: “I am still in Him, and He is still in me.” Let go of anything that created distance today, and draw close again. He’s been near all along—He’s just waiting for you to notice.
