Unlocking the Power of Listening

How often do we truly listen?
Not just with our ears, but with our hearts?
Today, we're diving into something powerful: the ministry of listening.
In a world filled with noise, God speaks in the stillness, and He listens far more than we realize.
1 Samuel 3:10 says,
'Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.'
What if we could listen like that in our own lives?
Listening is more than just hearing words.
It’s about giving attention to someone, showing that they matter.
It’s a ministry that strengthens relationships, both with God and each other.
But how often do we rush to speak instead of giving space for God to speak to us?
God, in His infinite wisdom, listens to us more than we realize.
Think about it: when we pray, He listens.
When we struggle, He listens.
And when we feel unheard, God is right there, paying attention.
In 1 Samuel 3, the young Samuel learned the importance of listening to God, and we can learn the same today.
We’re called to listen not only to God but also to the people He places in our lives.
As we listen, we reflect His love.
Just as He listens to us, we can offer that same ministry of listening to others, showing them they are truly heard.
So, take a moment today.
In your prayer time, in your conversations—ask God to open your heart to listen.
You might be surprised at what He has to say
